In the mid-2000s, Palm famously redesigned their Graffiti handwriting input system under legal pressure from a competing company. While the changes allowed Palm to continue development and distribution of the Palm OS, many saw them as a step back from their original counterparts.

Fortunately, the change didn't occur until after a few Palm OS 5 devices already shipped with the original Graffiti onboard. As a result, it is possible to take files off a Tungsten T or early Sony Clie and install them on other OS 5 devices, thereby overwriting Graffiti 2 with Original Graffiti.

The replacement files below should work across a range of devices. However, compatibility is not guaranteed and may break your OS! If this occurs, a hard reset will be required to restore full functionality. See the compatibility list below, and login or register to submit your own results!
