This is an application that lets you assign a regular button as a power button. You can also send this application to the Preferences panel if you wanted to hide it. It can also create an extra app that only turns the PDA off.

So, this will install on Palm OS 3.5 and 4 but it doesn't actually work on those, it only works on Palm OS 5 and up.
