Warfare Incorporated is a real-time strategy game in which players must gather and manage resources, develop bases, and deploy troops to defeat a variety of enemies across a story-driven single-player campaign as well as local multiplayer over WiFi or Bluetooth. It is also possible to create and share your own mission packs using the free Mission Editor for Windows PC.

All users should install the base WarfareIncorporated.prc application, however game data installation varies depending on your model of Palm device:

• Grayscale screen users should install htdata416.pdb. 16 grey-capable display required
• 160×160 or 160×240 color screen users should install htdata816.pdb, htdata416.pdb can also be used to save on storage space, if you are willing to game in greyscale.
• 240×240 or 240×320 color screen users should install htdata820.pdb (more on this later). You can also install htdata816.pdb or htdata416.pdb to have access to smaller graphics (larger playfield) in color or greyscale
• 320×320 or 320×480 color screen users should install htdata824.pdb. You can also install any of the above files to have access to smaller graphics in various sizes of smallness (larger playfield) in color or greyscale.

In addition to the above, Palm OS 5 users should install htsfx.pdb for enhanced sound effects, and Sony Clie and M130 users should install MQGX.prc for enhanced graphics acceleration.

The Dana specific version (patched by dmitrygr) only works on the Dana (and Dana Wireless) and requires the 16 greys sprite pack htdata416.pdb. It uses the full screen. Enjoy!

The Handera 330 specific version (patched by dmitrygr) only works on the Handera 330 on OS 4.1, and requires the respective 16 greys pack htdata416.pdb as well as the warfare enabler "Kissinger", followed by a soft reset of your device. This may work on OS 3.5 on hardware, but was not be tested.

v1.2 (ARM version): This replaces "Warfare_IncorporatedA.prc" from the stock archive.

It will not install via hotsync since it has a resource over 64KB, but it will copy from card using ZLauncher or using any file manager if UDMH is enabled. This is larger in storage heap (by 200K) But it does not need 500KB of storage free to run, so overall it is lighter on memory needs at runtime. It is pre-registered and does not care about your hotsync name or lack thereof. It is also safe to include in ROM images -- it will run safely from ROM.

htdata820.pdb

Color data file for medium resolution. It will not work on low res devices but is optimal for devices with a 240-px wide screen, and can also be used on hi-res devices to see more of the map. This file never shipped with PalmOS Warfare Inc.
