The goal of Puzzle Bobble is to score the highest amount of points in the least amount of time. Using a launcher to shoot colored bubbles at groups of other bubbles, you must clear the screen of all the bubbles before any hanging bubbles reach the horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. Points are scored when groups of the bubbles explode and drop other bubbles to the ground.
