America Online is offering AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) users instant message and Buddy List features for the Palm Computing platform.
AIM for Palm organizers brings the convenience and ease-of-use of AIM to Palm handheld devices. Now you can have anytime, anywhere access to your Buddy List, and can send and receive instant messages conveniently from your Palm device - whenever you want.
Note: The service was discontinued on December 15, 2017, rendering the application obsolete. In late 2002 the AIM client started costing $19.95 on Handango. Even the free versions like 1.1 were no longer free. Version 2.0 came out but only for the Palm i705 (Palm.net). The latest version is 3.0.
