Palm OS did not officially offer SD card support until OS 4. While no older devices were released with SD card readers built-in, it is possible to homebrew custom devices with a combination of older Palm OS and SD card readers.

Installation

Which support files you need to read SD cards depends on which version of Palm OS you are running.

For OS 3.5

• IntlMgr.prc
• NotifMgr.prc
• TrapExpander.prc
• ExpansionMgr.patched.prc
• FATFS.prc

For OS 3.1

All OS 3.5 files, plus:

• AlmProc.prc

For OS 3.0

All OS 3.1 files, plus:

• FtrPtr.prc

For OS 2.0

All OS 3.0 files, plus:

• HwrGetROMToken.prc
• SysBatteryInfo.prc

For OS 1.0

All OS 2.0 files, plus:

• DmDatabaseProtect.prc
• StringMgr.prc
