This document is for users upgrading from previous versions of FlashPro.
New users refer to FlashPro.doc.


Setup

   If you are upgrading from a prior version of FlashPro, you do not need to 
   rerun FPSetup.prc.  Simply HotSync FlashPro 2.00 onto your Palm device and 
   run it.

Version 1.02 Changes/Fixes

1. Free RAM now matches the 3Com information screen.
2. Contrast set properly in Recovery Mode for PalmV's. 
3. FPUninst.prc now included.  This program will completely remove FlashPro 
   support from the Palm device.
4. Fix problem for the Smartcode products and others running in RAM. (HandMail, 
   QuickNotes, etc)
5. Minor Cosmetic changes.
6. Added functionality to the FlashPro SDK.  New SDK can be downloaded from
   TRG's WEB site. (for developers only)  
7. RAM now wiped out when formatting the flash drive in Recovery Mode.


Version 1.03 Changes/Fixes

1. Fixed problem copying databases from flash to RAM with deleted records.
2. Sped up deleting database in flash.  (10-20 times faster now)
3. FlashPro now opens databases in read-only mode when copying them.
4. Backup bit now cleared when a database/program moved/copied to flash.
5. Fixed problem when running on Symbol's SPT1500.  FlashPro now also supports
    4M flash on the SPT1500.

1. Fixed "overlock" problem when copying databases to flash.
2. Fixed Select All short-cut display problem.
3. Fixed display problem in Preferences screen.

1. Fixed defragment display problem.

3. Added scroll to letter support. Enter a graffiti letter and it scrolls to
   first database starting with that letter.

1. Added support for PalmOS 3.5.

1. Fixed API return codes for insufficnent flash condition.
2. Fixed API copy to flash bug when not renaming the database.
3. Fixed Symbol's PalmOS 3.5.2 not enough free flash error in FPSetup.

Version 1.10 changes/Fixes
1. Add support for Fujitsu 4MB flash chip (some Symbol, Palm, and IBM models)

3. Reduce minimum required flash free space for FlashPro initial install from 256KB to    128KB.

Version 2.00
1. Added support for OS 4.0 on Palm M500/M505
2. CHanged names and logo's from TRG to HandEra

Version 2.01 changed the approach to checking for Palm M500 and M505 devices.  Some M50X devices were incorrectly detected with V2.00.
