In this archive, you'll find these important files:

PDB2BMP.EXE: DOS utility that converts pDraft schematics to BMP
images so you can view and print them from your desktop.

 CONVERT.BAT: Converter batch file.

PDB2BMP INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------

The DOS command line parameters for the PDB2BMP utility are as follows:

 pdb2bmp <bitmap database> <BMP destination path & filename>

where <bitmap database> is the PDBITMAP.PDB file that was transfered to your
desktop, and <BMP destination path & filename> is the resulting BMP filename
and its destination.

Here's how to install the utility:

1. Create a PDRAFT folder at the root of your drive c: (C:\PDRAFT)
2. Copy the files CONVERT.BAT and PDB2BMP.EXE into that new folder

Now here is how to convert schematics:

1. First you need to export your schematic from within the pDraft application.
To do that, run pDraft, load the schematic you want to export, and go to
MENU-SHEET-EXPORT BITMAP. This will save your schematic in bitmap format.

2. Next, hotsync your Palm. The PDBITMAP.PDB file will be transfered to your desktop
   palm backup directory.

3. Now use your windows-find to locate and copy the file PDBITMAP.PDB into the
   C:\PDRAFT directory.

3. Finally, click at the CONVERT.BAT file and your schematic will be converted and saved
as SCHEMA.BMP into the C:\PDRAFT directory.

4. Now you can load the converted BMP file into Windows Paint (or any other
image processing application). From there, you can view or print your
   schematic.

   * Please note that the current version of this utility requires you to
flip the picture vertically before you view or print it.

-------------------------------------------
Current limitations of the PDB2BMP utility:

 - Converted bitmap is "upside-down". You can easily flip it verticaly within
   Windows Paint(tm) application (MENU:IMAGE-FLIP-VERTICALLY).
You can also print it from there.
