Installing AllMoney

Windows Installation

1. Install the AllMoney software (AllMoney.prc)onto your Palm OS device using the Palm Install Tool. To do this, select the Start button | Programs | Palm Desktop | Install Tool. Tap the Add button in the Install Tool and navigate through your PC until you locate the AllMoney.prc. When you locate it, select it and tap the Open button.

2. Now you can install the icon files in the same way as the applciation. These are the AMIcons-B&W.prc and the AMIcons-Color.prc If you have a Black and White device, install AMIcons-B&W.prc if you have a Color device install AMIcons-Color.prc. Note: Installing the icons will remove any custom icons you currently have installed and will restore the defaults.
3. Tap the Done button to exit the Install Tool.
4. Synchronize your Palm device and AllMoney will be installed.
5. Enter your license (see below).

   Note: For the first three days of use, you will not need to enter a license. After three days, you will need a license to open and activate AllMoney. To obtain a free demo license to run AllMoney for an additional thirty days, access this web page: http://www.iambic.com/demo.htm.

   To purchase a permanent unlock code, access this web page: http://www.iambicstore.com. If you purchased AllMoney from the iambic Software web store, then a certificate will have been sent to you via e-mail please see below for registering your certificate.

Mac Installation

1. From the Palm menu-bar, select HotSync Manager
2. Under the HotSync menu, select Install.
3. Click on Add to List.
4. Locate the AllMoney file (AllMoney.prc).
5. Also locate the AMIcons-B&W.prc and the AMIcons-Color.prc If you have a Black and White device, install AMIcons-B&W.prc if you have a Color device install AMIcons-B&W.prc. Note: Installing the icons will remove any custom icons you currently have installed and will restore the defaults.
6. Hotsync your Palm Computing connected organizer.
7. Tap the Applications Launcher at the bottom of your handheld device. You should see the AllMoney icon in alphabetical order with the other Palm applications.
8. Open the AllMoney application on the handheld device by tapping the AllMoney icon.
9. Enter your license (see below).

   Note: For the first three days of use, you will not need to enter a license. After three days, you will need a license to open and activate AllMoney. To obtain a free demo license to run AllMoney for an additional thirty days, access this web page: http://www.iambic.com/demo.htm.

Entering the AllMoney License

• Demo Licenses:

To enter the AllMoney demo license, tap the Palm device menu silkscreen button (round icon at the bottom left of the Palm device, next to the graffiti writing area)From the menu bar that appears select Options | About and tap the "Purchasing" button. In the "How Do I Purchase" screen, tap the "Enter License" button and enter your license

• Permanent Unlock Code:

Once you have purchased, if you are currently running an AllMoney demo, and have the latest version, there is no need to uninstall and then reinstall the software. All you will need to do is obtain your permanent unlock code using the process below.

To obtain your unlock code, Log onto to http://customerservice.iambic.com using your account info emailed previously. If you have lost this info, you can ask for it to be automatically re-emailed to you on this page. After you log in, on the main screen you should see a notice "You have new unused certificates!" Click on the link to continue. If you do not see that message, choose "Add a New Product" and select AllMoney. Now open AllMoney on your Palm device. Tap the Menu button on your handheld (bottom left section of the screen). Select Options | About | Purchasing. You should see your device ID on the screen. Enter your certificate (if not already filled in for you), and your device ID. The system will now automatically generate your unlock code and you can enter it on the Enter License screen.

Upgrading AllMoney

To upgrade your current version of AllMoney to the latest simply install the new AllMoney.prc as indicated above.
